How Capture the Flag works in Toot Tots

Capture the Flag is the team mode of Toot Tots, the free first-person party shooter with diaper babies. Team Bottle (blue) and Team Binky (pink) each have a flag with a diaper on it standing in their fort. You score by grabbing the other team's flag and carrying it back to your own.

  1. 1

    Grab the enemy flag

Walk into the other team's flag to pick it up. The game announces it to everyone, and the flag shows on your back.

  2. 2

    Carry it home

Bring it to your own flag stand. You only score if your own flag is at home on its stand.

  3. 3

If the carrier pukes, the flag drops

It stays on the ground where it fell. Either team can walk over it: the enemy picks it up again, and its own team sends it straight home.

  4. 4

Dropped flags go home on their own

A flag left on the ground for 20 seconds returns to its stand.

Matches go to 2, 3 or 5 captures. If the time runs out on a tie, it's Sudden Spew: the next capture wins. Capture the Flag always plays on Pillow Fort Showdown. If you're new to the rules of red, potty and puke, read the beginner's guide first.

A tour of Pillow Fort Showdown

Pillow Fort Showdown is a long map, built as a mirror image. Team Bottle's fort is at the top (north) and Team Binky's fort is at the bottom (south), with open ground in between.

Base

The forts

Each fort has a front wall with three gates and pillows piled at the gates as cover. Inside are toy blocks, a crib and a toy chest around the flag stand.

Snipers

Corner towers

Each fort has two corner towers with stairs on the inner side. They are the snipers' nests, with a view down the middle.

Midfield

The centre castle

A raised deck in the middle of the map with a slide down each side, toward each fort. A snack ring sits on the deck.

Lane

West lane

A crawl tunnel and ball pits. The pits slow you down, but the lane gives good cover for sneaking up one side.

Lane

East lane

Sandboxes with sand castles, jungle platforms and a merry-go-round. More height, more jumps.

Snack rings sit on the castle deck, out in each lane and near each fort. Cover in the open (blocks, giant ducks, beach balls, bushes and trees) is mirrored too, so neither side has a better path.

Attacking: how to steal the diaper flag

  • Go in pairs. One baby turns defenders red, the other grabs the flag. A lone attacker who gets hit once is in trouble, far from any friendly cover.
  • Pick a lane and stick to it. The crawl tunnel on the west side hides you; the east side's platforms let you come in high over the pillows.
  • Clear the gate with splash. Big Burt's Whoopee Bazooka splashes everyone near the pillows at a gate, which turns a crowd of defenders red at once.
  • Butt-jet out with the flag. The dash is the fastest way out of the fort, and its gas trail can turn a chaser red behind you.
  • Don't stop to flush. A red carrier is one hit from dropping the flag. If home is close, keep running. If it's far, a potty on the way can be worth the second.

Defending your fort

  • Hold a tower with the Stink Sniper. The corner towers see attackers coming down both lanes. A headshot pukes a carrier instantly and drops the flag.
  • Guard the gates with the Bean Pump. Lil' Beans is at her best right at the pillows, where attackers have to come close.
  • Return dropped flags fast. Your own flag on the ground goes home the moment a teammate walks over it. Waiting 20 seconds for it to return gives the enemy time to pick it up again.
  • Chase the carrier, not the crowd. One puke on the carrier is worth more than three on the attackers around them.

Bots on your team split up on their own: about two in three go on the attack and the rest stay home to guard the flag. If you play with bots, you can fill whichever job they leave thin.

Team Diaper tips

Team Diaper is the other team mode: no flags, and every puke counts for your team, up to 7, 10 or 15. It plays on either map: Lil' Tooters Daycare for smaller teams, Pillow Fort Showdown for bigger ones.

  • Stack your guns. One Whoopee Bazooka to turn groups red and one Triple Toot or Gatling to finish them works better than four of the same gun.
  • Shoot the red ones. A red enemy with 🥵 over its head is one hit from a team point. Call them out if you play side by side.
  • Cover the potties. Red enemies have to go to a potty. Waiting near one that just landed is a reliable way to score.

The weapons and movement guide has the numbers for every gun if you want to plan a team around them.

Capture the Flag questions

How do you score in Toot Tots Capture the Flag?

Pick up the other team's diaper flag and carry it to your own flag stand while your own flag is at home. Each capture is one point.

What happens to the flag when the carrier pukes?

It drops where the carrier was. The enemy can pick it up again, a teammate of the flag's team sends it home by touching it, and after 20 seconds on the ground it goes home by itself.

Which map does Capture the Flag use?

Capture the Flag always plays on Pillow Fort Showdown, the big map with two forts, corner sniper towers and a castle in the middle.

Can I play Capture the Flag with friends online?

Yes. Host an online game, share the 6-digit code, and choose Capture the Flag as the mode. Bots fill any spots up to the number of babies you set.
